Middlesex C.C.C. Two original mono/ sepia press photographs of Middlesex players in batting action, probably 1930s, both signed in ink to the photograph by the featured player. Players/ signatures are Ian Peebles (Middlesex, Oxford University & England 1928-1948, 13 Tests) and Jim Smith (Middlesex & England 1934-1939, 5 Tests). The Smith photograph additionally annotated to verso ‘Middlesex v Sussex at Lord’s 1938. 69 runs in 24 minutes including 6 6’s’, signed by Smith and dated 4th December 1973. The Peebles photograph by Sport & General, London, other unknown. Approx. 5.5”x8”. Good/ very good condition.
