Worcestershire C.C.C. 1926-1929. Two neatly joined album pages nicely signed to one side in ink by twenty two members of the Worcestershire team, the majority of whom played in the matches against Sussex at Hove in seasons 1926-1929. The signatures obtained by the collector Laetitia Stapleton (nee Repington). Signatures are Jewell, Gilbert, Hill, Foster, Williams, Wright, Root, Jackson, Rogers, Quaife, Summers, Coventry, J. Fox, Gibbons, Bowles, Ponsonby, W.V. Fox, King, Tarbox, Higgins and the rarer A.J. Wilkes (11 matches 1925-1927) and G.M.C. Davidge who played one match for Worcestershire in 1911. Also signed to the verso by the eleven members of the Cambridge University team for the 1926 match at Hove, and two others. Signatures include future England Test players R.W.V. Robins, K.S. Duleepsinhji, Eddie Dawson and Maurice Turnbull. The page measures 7.5”4.75”, lightly laid down by one corner to larger page. Good/ very good condition.
