‘The Cricket Championship of India, for The Ranji Trophy 1944-45’. Official folding scorecard for the tournament semi-final, Bombay v North India, played at the Brabourne Stadium, Bombay, 16th- 20th February 1945. The scorecard with printed scores complete to the close of the fourth day’s play. Fully and nicely signed in ink to the centre scorecard page by the eleven members of the Northern India XI. Signatures are Mohammad Saeed (Captain), Imtiaz Ahmed (Pakistan 41 Tests 1952-1962), Munawar Ali Khan, M.R. Bhide, Badaruddin Malik, Abdul Hafeez Kardar (India & Pakistan 26 Tests 1946-1958), Aslam Khokhar (Pakistan 1 Test 1954), Ram Prakash, Nazar Mohammad (Pakistan 5 Tests 1951/52), Muni Lal, and Fazal Mahmood (Pakistan 34 Tests 1952-1962). Northern India scored 363 (Abdul Hafeez 145) and 312, Bombay 620 (Merchant 183, Modi 113) and 58/0, Bombay winnings by ten wickets. Printed in red and black by the Alliance Art Printing Works, Girgaum, Bombay. 5.5”x7” folded. Light horizontal fold, otherwise in good/ very good condition.
