M.C.C. tour of South Africa & Rhodesia 1948-1949. Official programme for the match Rhodesia v M.C.C. played at the Raylton Club, Bulawayo, 29th January- 1st February 1949. Comprises pen pictures of the M.C.C. team, scorecards, advertising etc. The 48pp programme in original wrappers. P. Mansell’ handwritten to top border of the front cover, so presumably his copy. Nicely signed by both teams in ink to the scorecard pages next to their printed names. Sixteen signatures of the M.C.C. team and eleven signatures of the Rhodesia team. Signatures include Frank Mann and Sidney Martin, the two captains, Simpson, Hutton, Compton, Evans, Gladwin, Palmer, Jenkins, Tremlett, Wright, Harris, Carew, Curran, Pretorius, Mansell, Tayfield, Franklin etc. Good condition.
