Yorkshire C.C.C. tour to Jamaica 1935/36. ‘Jamaica Cricket Association Official Programme’ compiled by C.A. Lopez and issued by the Jamaica Cricket Board of Control. 88pp pre-tour booklet comprising tour itinerary, player profiles, three blank fold-out scorecards to rear and advertising. Original pictorial wrappers. Minor age toning to wrappers otherwise a nice copy in very good condition throughout. A scarce tour brochure, does not appear to be listed in Padwick and not previously seen by Knights.
Yorkshire were invited as County Champions to tour Jamaica in February & March 1936. They played six matches including three first-class games against Jamaica, winning the first and drawing the two others. The team was strongly represented by Gibb (Captain), Sutcliffe, Leyland, Mitchell, Wood, Smailes, Bowes, Verity, Hutton, Robinson etc.
