Prudential ‘World’ Cup 1983. Almost full run of first day covers covering the competition, seven of the eight covers featuring the teams who participated, England, West Indies, Zimbabwe, India, Australia, New Zealand and Sri Lanka, lacking the Pakistan cover plus covers for the two semi-finals, England v India at Old Trafford and West Indies v Pakistan at the Oval and official cover for the Final West Indies v India played at Lord’s on the 25th June 1983. Very good condition
India caused one of the biggest upsets in cricketing history by beating West Indies in the World Cup Final by 43 runs.
