Norman Gifford. Worcestershire, Warwickshire & England 1960-83. ‘The Centenary Banquet’. Official menu for the South African Cricket Centenary 1889-1989 Banquet held on the 8th March 1989. The menu, with cord tie, signed to inside pages by cricketers titled ‘The South African Golden Oldies and by the International Wanderers who attended the Dinner. Twenty four signatures including Procter, G. Pollock, McKenzie, Van de Bijl, Short, Fletcher, Amiss, B. Laird, A. Mallett, L.Cairns, Shuttleworth, Gifford, G. McKenzie, Edrich, Woolmer, Cosier etc. Sold with a S.A.C.U. printed sheet detailing six rows presumably for the official photograph that was taken at the event. Good condition.
