Kumar Shri Ranjitsinhji. Cambridge University, Sussex, London County & England, 1893-1920. Interesting two page handwritten letter in ink written on Royal Victoria Hotel, Sheffield letterhead and dated 12th June 1906. Writing to ‘S.M. Fraser, News Editor’, Ranji regrets that ‘my photographs of Lord Curzon & those of his staff taken at Calais have proved failures, owing to defective films which evidently got spoilt owing to the heat in India’ and therefore cannot be used ‘in your magazine’. Very nicely signed ‘Ranjitsinhji’. Light folds, very minor staining, otherwise in good/ very good condition.
