A selection of seventeen official programmes (one exception), covering sporting and other events, from the collection of Alan Curtis, English actor and Lord’s cricket announcer. Eleven programmes are for sporting events including rowing, ‘pirate’ programme for the 1946 Oxford v Cambridge Boat Race, Shrewsbury Open Regatta 1952. Wrestling at Lincoln 1951, Colwyn Bay 1960. Tennis, Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Championships 1956 first day, Davis Cup Great Britain v Romania 1969. Horse racing, Epsom Summer Meeting Derby Day 1956, ‘The Lord’s Taverners Ascot’ race meeting 1971, Equestrianism Royal Dublin Horse Show 1956. Other events include theatre, art, trooping the colour etc. Good condition.
