Village cricket bowl. Staffordshire 19th century bowl, transfer printed in black with three scenes of village cricket, with church and tents to background, floral and oak leaf inner rim decoration. Hand coloured in green, burgundy, and yellow. Approximately 6” diameter, 3.5” tall. c1850’s/60’s. Three hairline cracks to sides, some wear to rim, discolouration and wear to base with minor chips, odd minor faults otherwise in good condition for its age. Sold with a selection of more modern reproduction Staffordshire figures and other ceramics of ‘W.G. Grace’. ‘Tennis-Cricket’, ‘Military Batsman’ etc. Quantity 10 including two mugs which are not cricket related. Good condition
