Peter William Denning. Somerset 1969-1984. Somerset 2nd XI cap worn by Denning during his playing career with Somerset. The navy blue cap, by Foster of London, with the Somerset emblem of a wyvern/dragon embroidered in white and a touch of red to the front. with ‘XXII’ below. Initials handwritten in ink to size label ‘P.W.D.’ and sold with a two page handwritten letter from Denning, dated December 1989, to a Mr Perkins, explaining he only has a second XI capped players cap and goes onto say he did’nt really wear a cap. Signed ‘Peter Denning’. Good condition
