David Smith. Surrey, Worcestershire, Sussex & England 1973-1994. Sussex navy blue 1st XI baseball style cricket cap worn by Smith during his playing career with Sussex. The cap embroidered with the six martlet’s emblem of Sussex to front. ‘Smith’ handwritten to inside lining. Previously sold by Knights in the David Smith Benefit Year auction of 1995 held at Hove. The cap with signs of wear otherwise in good condition.
