‘The Australian Cricket Team 1909’. Fourteen sepia real photograph individual postcards of the fifteen members of the Australian cricket team who toured England in 1909, by Davidson Brothers of London. Twelve of the players are depicted standing full length in various poses, F. Laver, S.E. Gregory, M.A. Noble, V.T. Trumper, H. Carter, A.J. Hopkins, R.J. Hartigan, A. Cotter, W.W. Armstrong, W.J. Whitty, C.G. Macartney, and P.A. McAlister, also W. Bardsley and V.S. Ransford, both in cameo. Six postcards postally used, five with postmarks for 1909-1910, some general cricket correspondence. Others postally unused. Minor wear to some corners, otherwise in good/ very good condition.
