Australia tour to England 1912. Triangular Test Tournament. Mono printed postcard of Australians Macartney and Gregory walking off the field, both wearing tour caps and carrying bats. Printed title ‘C.G. McCartney [sic] and S.E. Gregory’. The verso, with handwritten title ‘Australia’s Team, Perth July 13 1912’, is signed in coloured pencil by twelve members of the Australian touring party and three others. Australians’ signatures are Gregory (Captain), McLaren, Hazlitt, Matthews, Webster, Whitty, Bardsley, Kelleway, Mayne, Minnett, Macartney, and Crouch (Manager). The date corresponds with the drawn tour match played at North Inch, Perth, 11th- 13th July 1912. Wear and soiling, small nick to edge, adhesive mark to verso, otherwise in generally good condition.
