West Indies tours to England 1923 & 1939. Sepia real photograph postcard of the 1923 West Indies touring party with printed title and players’ names to margins. Players seated and standing in rows wearing cricket attire and include Austin (Captain), Nunes, Challenor, Pascal, Holt, Browne, Constantine etc. Raphael House, London. Very good condition. Sold with a rarer real photograph plain back postcard of the 1939 touring team. Players’ names neatly annotated in ink to verso, with official stamp to verso of A. Wilkes & Son, West Bromwich, include Grant, Constantine, Martindale, Headley, Stollmeyer, Gomez, Sealey, Weekes etc. Both postally unused. Minor creasing to corners, otherwise in good/ very good condition. Qty 2.
