William Eric ‘Bill’ Bowes. Yorkshire & England 1929-1947. Original mono real photograph postcard of Bowes depicted head and shoulders in cameo wearing cricket attire. Very nicely signed in ink below the image by Bowes. Thin paper strip attached to lower border with Bowes’s name, county and date of birth printed to it. The postcard appears to be by A. Wilkes & Son, West Bromwich but has at some point been laid down to card so paper and adhesive marks cover the back of the card. All four corners of postcard have been trimmed otherwise in good condition
