‘Lady Coke’s XI v Mr J Bamford’s XI’ Uttoxeter 1914. Early sepia real photograph postcard of ‘Mr Bamford’s XI’ seated and standing in rows in front of the pavilion. The match was played at Uttoxeter Oldfields 27th July 1914 but no record of the result or who took part can be found. Sold with a similar postcard of a general view of the pavilion with players and spectators in attendance. Both by Alfred McCann of Uttoxeter and postally unused. Minor wear to corners, otherwise in good/ very good condition.
