Wisden Cricketers’ Almanack 1890. 27th edition. Bound in dark brown boards, with original paper wrappers, titles in gilt to spine. Worn, darkened and stained wrappers with minor damage and loss to front wrapper, handwritten name of ownership to top border of the front wrapper, first advertising page and title page, name and full address handwritten to the ‘Contents page’ and to ‘Preface page’. The ‘Nine Great Batsmen of the Year’ photograph detached but in the book otherwise in good condition
