‘The Rise and Fall of Percy Perrin: Derbyshire v Essex 1904’. John Shawcroft. J.W.McKenzie 2000. Special limited edition number 10 of forty one numbered copies, each signed by the author and Jim Hutchinson, the 103-year old Derbyshire cricketer who played first-class cricket with many of those involved in this match. Half green morocco with green cloth boards, top edge gilt, spine with raised bands and gilt titles, in original slipcase. Perrin scored 343no out of an Essex first-innings total of 597 and still ended up on the losing side. Very good condition.
