Small 15pp booklet tipped in to green cloth boards with gilt title to front, original green card wrappers preserved. Padwick 5405. Bookplate of A.E. Winder to inside original front wrapper. Very good condition.
The 1928 Constitution and Laws were established to unify regional cricket administration and formalise the team’s elevation to official Test status. Governed primarily by a white elite, the 1928 Constitution and its unwritten laws mandated that only white cricketers could captain the West Indies.
