First edition of the earliest collection of player biographies. Dedicated to ‘the Noblemen and Gentlemen, members of the Marylebone Cricket Club’, it is largely about Denison’s contemporaries, though beginning with the earlier figure of Alfred Mynn. Padwick 876 & 7201.
