Bruce Nicholas French. Nottinghamshire & England 1976-1995. M.C.C. Bicentenary mid blue blazer, by Burton of Leeds, with embroidered M.C.C. Bicentenary 1787-1987 emblem in black, gold and red to chest pocket. Typewritten note of authentication to pocket, signed by French. Previously sold by Vennett-Smith auctions as lot 190 in the Bruce French Benefit auction of 1991. Very good condition
The M.C.C. Bicentenary Test was played at Lord’s with the M.C.C. team playing a Rest of the World team during which this blazer was worn. French played sixteen Test matches for England
