‘Pitchside Commentary’ by John Haskins. Oil on panel portrait by Haskins of a delightful and colourful cricket scene, two elderly spectators sitting by the boundary edge in deck chairs watching a cricket match, cup and saucer, shoes and newspaper scattered below the chairs. Signed by Haskins to lower right hand corner. Attractively mounted, framed and glazed. Overall 23”x17”. ‘York Fine Arts’ certificate to the back of the frame. Very good condition
John Haskins born in Bermondsey in 1938 and began in illustration and has held successful exhibitions in London, Frankfurt, Paris, Melbourne, Los Angeles etc
