Yorkshire club team photographs 1919-1959. Two copies of team photographs of ‘York Cricket Club, 1925. Winners of East Riding Cup 1925’, including Sandy Jacques (Yorkshire 1927-1936). Both photographs measure 11.25”x9.25”, laid to photographer’s mounts, one with hand printed titles and players’ names to mount borders, overall 18”x14”, in good condition, the other mount with some wear and appears slightly trimmed, the photograph in good condition. Team photograph of Huddersfield Cricket & Athletic Club 1919, winners of the Huddersfield & District Cricket League, depicted with the Byrom Shield. Laid to photographer’s mount, overall 18”x14”. Two original team photographs of Leeds University C.C. 1st XI, 1958 and 1959, each laid to photographer’s mount with hand printed title and player’s names to mount borders. Both overall 15”x12”. Sold with a watercolour scene of a country cricket match in progress, annotated to verso ‘Lascelles Hall C.C.’. Signed by the artist ‘D. Jones 1924’. Mounted, framed and glazed, overall 18.5”x13”.
