Australia tour to England 1926. Six original mono press photographs of match action from the tour. Includes two photographs from the first Test at Trent Bridge 12th June 1926, Sutcliffe playing an attacking shot, and an excellent image of spectators in the crowd sheltering from the rain which washed out the match. Both measure 10”x8” with official press stamps to verso for Daily Mirror and Victor Forbin. Sold with four smaller photographs of action from the tour match v Cambridge University at Fenners, 19th- 21st May 1926, depicting Duleepsinhji batting, Woodfull taking a catch at slip to dismiss Machin, Lowe caught by Ellis off the bowling of Ryder, and Bardsley playing a cut shot. Each 6.5”x4.75” with stamps for Central News. Very good condition.
