Australian tour of England 1948. Official mono photograph of ‘R.M.S. Orontes’, the ship which brought the Australian team to England, laid down to official photographers mount. Signed to face in ink by thirteen members of the Australian touring party. Signatures are Bradman, Toshack, Harvey, McCool, Hassett, Lindwall, Loxton, Morris, Saggers, Johnston, Ring, Johnson and Bill Brown. Morris and Brown have signed the photograph twice, fifteen signatures in total. Overall 10”7.75”. Some soiling to mount, the photograph in very good condition.
