Derbyshire Professionals Oval 1910’. Early original sepia photograph of the Derbyshire players entering the field of play from the pavilion at The Oval in 1910. The photograph measures 8.5”x6.5”, laid down to photograph album page with handwritten title and players’ names annotated in ink to margins. Named players featured include A. Morton, A. Warren, S.W.A. Cadman, J. Humphries and E. Needham. A good image. To the verso, two smaller photographs, one of L.C. Braund of Somerset ‘at his Benefit at Bath’ in 1909 with signature in pencil on piece laid down below, and W.C. ‘Razor’ Smith of Surrey in 1910, with signature in ink on piece below. Ex J.W. Goldman collection. Three photographs in total. Very good condition.
