Cecil John Burditt Wood. Leicestershire 1896-1923. Early mono real photograph postcard of Wood standing full length at the wicket wearing Leicestershire cap, leaning on his bat. Nicely signed in black ink to the photograph by Wood. Blind embossed stamp to lower right corner for Foster of Brighton. Postmarked 1907. Slight fading to the image, small adhesive marks to verso, otherwise in very good condition. Sold with a further mono real photograph postcard of Wood in batting pose. Rotophot series no. 8608.
