M.C.C. tours to Australia. Adelaide Oval. Two original mono real photograph postcards of scenes at the Adelaide Oval. One with title ‘England v. Australia, Adelaide Oval’ by ‘South Australia Post Card’ depicts play in progress with the cathedral in the background. Postally used, date uncertain, possibly on the 1907/08 tour. The other depicts large crowds in attendance, possibly 1920/21 tour. Publisher unknown, postally unused. Some staining to the earlier postcard, otherwise in good/ very good condition.
