M.C.C. tour to Australia 1907/08. Two original colour postcards depicting aerial views of play in progress by ‘South Australia Post Card’, both with printed title to lower margin ‘England v. S. Australia, The Oval, Adelaide’. One, a landscape view, postally unused, the other portrait format, postmarked 25th March 1908. Both appear to depict the same match in progress with view of the city in the background. Very good condition.
In addition to the third Test, M.C.C. played two tour matches against South Australia at the Adelaide Oval, 9th- 13th November 1907 and 2nd- 3rd March 1908.
