Middlesex C.C.C. Three Godfrey Phillips ‘Pinnace’ premium issue cabinet size mono real photograph plain back trade cards including one of G.T.S. Stevens (Middlesex, Oxford University & England 1919-1932) in bowling pose, no. 155.C. The two others are variations of cards depicting Patsy Hendren (Middlesex & England 1907-1937) head and shoulders wearing Middlesex cap and blazer, one titled ‘Hendren, E.H. Middlesex’, no. 176.C, the other ‘E. Hendren Brentford’, no. 176. According to Derek Deadman’s ‘Cricket Cigarette and Trade Cards’ book of 1985, the ‘Brentford’ version was issued as part of the Pinnace football series, with a glossy finish. Annotated biography to verso and some creasing to the ‘Middlesex’ version, otherwise in very good condition. Each 4”x6”.
