Surrey v Yorkshire 1909. Early original silk commemorative scorecard with complete printed scores for the remarkable match played at The Oval, 19th- 21st August 1909. Surrey batted first and made 273 all out, Marshal made 110 for Surrey, Haigh took 7-65, Yorkshire then batted and made 223 all out, Lees taking 6-60. In Surrey’s second innings they were bowled out for 62, Hirst taking four and Rhodes four wickets. Yorkshire then proceeded to be bowled out for only 26 runs, Rushby and Smith taking five wickets a piece. There were five ducks and not one batsman made double figures. Surrey won by 86 runs. Mounted. Overall 8.25”x11”. Good/ very good condition.
