Scarborough Cricket Festival 1921. Three original double sided scorecards with incomplete printed scores for each of the matches played in the 1921 Scarborough Festival. Matches are Yorkshire v. M.C.C. 1st- 3rd September, Yorkshire won by two wickets (M.C.C. 143 & 153, Yorkshire 154 & 143/8). Gentlemen v Players 5th- 7th September, Players won by 198 runs (Players 302 & 207/6 declared, Gentlemen 142 & 169). C.I. Thornton’s XI v Australians 8th- 10th September, Thornton’s XI (280 & 146) beat the Australians (231 & 162) by 33 runs. Each approx. 5”x8.25”. Printed by J. Whitham of Sheffield with local advertising to verso. Horizontal folds and some wear, otherwise in generally good condition.
