Fourteen original scorecards, all for ‘home’ matches (one exception) played by Sussex at the County Ground, Hove, including tour matches against Australia 1921, 1930, 1934, New Zealand 1931, and South Africa 1935. All with incomplete printed and/ or handwritten scores. Each loose mounted to black page. Scorecards are v Gloucestershire 23rd & 25th July 1921, Sussex won by an innings and 210 runs (R.R. Relf 193). v Middlesex 30th July- 2nd August 1921, Middlesex won by 252 runs. v Australians 31st August- 2nd September 1921, Australians won by 197 runs. v Surrey 20th- 22nd August 1924, Surrey won by an innings and 57 runs. v Australians 30th August- 2nd September 1930, match drawn (Kippax 158 & 102 for the Australians). v New Zealand 29th August- 1st September, match drawn (Demptser 167 for New Zealand, Tate 142, Duleepsinhji 103 for Sussex). v Somerset at Taunton 13th- 16th August 1932, Sussex won by ten wickets. v Gloucestershire 20th- 23rd May 1933, Sussex won by an innings and 35 runs (Cook 161). v Middlesex 4th- 7th August 1934, match drawn (Gubby Allen 13 wickets in the match for Middlesex). v Australians 25th- 28th August 1934, Australians won by an innings and 35 runs (Kippax 250, Darling 117 for Australians). v Warwickshire 18th- 21st May 1935, Warwickshire won by ten runs. v South Africans 24th- 27th August 1935, match drawn. v Leicestershire 16th- 19th May 1936, Leicestershire won by ten wickets (Dempster 164no, Shipman 103). v Essex 2nd- 4th June 1937, Sussex won by 162 runs (Cox 110, Nicholls ten wickets in the match). Odd faults, overall in good condition.
