Gentlemen v. Players 1925. Original commemorative silk scorecard for the match played at Kennington Oval, 8th- 10th July 1925. Players elected to bat first and posted 403 (J.W. Hearne 103). In reply, Gentlemen reached 458 including 130 from Gubby Allen, his first first-class century. Maurice Tate took 7/148. The Players then declared their second innings at 252/7, setting the Gentlemen 198 to win, which they achieved, ended 200/6 to win by four wickets. 6.25”x10”. The scorecard mounted to card with tape to verso and lightly mounted to black page. Very good condition.
