Tour matches in Wales 1928 & 1929. Two official single sided scorecards. One for Wales v. West Indies at The Oval, Llandudno, 25th- 27th July 1928. Complete printed and handwritten scores in ink. West Indians scored 198 & 137, Wales 229 & 107/2, Wales winning by eight wickets. Syd Barnes took twelve wickets for 118 runs in the match. 5”x9”. Good condition. The other for Wales v South Africa, Rydal School, Colwyn Bay, 10th- 12th July 1929. Incomplete printed scores. South Africans scored 192 (Bob Catterall 117) & 239, Wales 159 & 262 (Eddie Bates 102), South Africans winning by ten runs. Syd Barnes had match bowling figures of ten wickets for 90 runs. 5”x10”. Small loss to top edge and corners, otherwise in good condition.
