Scorecards are v Essex, Leyton, 7th- 9th May, incomplete printed and handwritten scores in pencil, Australians 156 & 264/6 dec., Essex 67 (Percy Hornibrook 6/11), & 146 (Hornibrook 4/29, ten wickets in the match), Australia won by 207 runs. Wear and creasing. v Yorkshire, Bramall Lane, Sheffield, 10th- 13th May, incomplete printed scores, Yorkshire 155 (Clarrie Grimmett took all ten wickets for 37 runs), Australians 320 (Bill Woodfull 121), match drawn. v M.C.C., Lord’s, 17th- 20th May, incomplete handwritten scores in pencil, Australians 285 & 213, M.C.C. 258, match drawn. v Middlesex, Lord’s, 4th- 6th June, incomplete printed and handwritten scores in pencil, Middlesex 103 (Hornibrook 7/42) & 287 (Patsy Hendren 138, Hornibrook 4/60), Australians 270 (Alan Kippax 102, Gubby Allen 6/77) & 121/5, Australians won by five wickets. All four scorecards ex Grimmett collection. Also v Surrey, Kennington Oval, 18th- 20th June, incomplete handwritten scores in pencil, Surrey 162 (Grimmett 6/24) & 249/2 (Jack Hobbs 146no), Australians 388/5 dec. (Woodfull 141), match drawn. v Gloucestershire, Fry’s Ground, Bristol, 223rd- 26th August, incomplete printed scores, Gloucestershire 72 & 202 (Hornibrook 5/49), Australians 157 & 117 (Charlie Parker 7/54), match tied. Odd faults as described, otherwise in good condition.
