Laid to card. 2nd Test, Lord’s, 27th July- 1st August, incomplete printed scores, England scored 425 (Duleepsinhji 173) & 375 (Percy Chapman 121, Charlie Grimmett 6/167), Australia 729/6 dec. (Bradman 254, Bill Woodfull 155) & 72/3, Australia won by seven wickets. Ex Grimmett collection. 3rd Test, Headingley, 11th- 15th July, complete printed scores, Australia 566 (Bradman 334, his highest Test score), England 391 (Wally Hammond 113, Grimmett 5/135) & 95/3, match drawn. Ex Grimmett collection. 4th Test, Old Trafford, 25th- 29th July, incomplete printed scores, Australia 345, England 251/8, match drawn. 5th Test, Kennington Oval, 16th- 22nd August 1930 (Timeless Test). England 405 (Herbert Sutcliffe 161) & 251 (Percy Hornibrook 7/92), Australia 695 (Don Bradman 232, Bill Ponsford 110, Ian Peebles 6/204). Australia won by an innings and 39 runs to take the series 2-1 and regain The Ashes. Ex Grimmett collection with incomplete handwritten scores in ink in his own hand. Very good condition.
