Yorkshire v. Gloucestershire 1931. Official commemorative silk scorecard for the match played at Bramall Lane, Sheffield, 3rd- 5th June 1931. No play had been possible on the first two days so, in order to enable the possibility of a result, both teams effectively forfeited their first innings by both bowling one ball and, in so doing, each conceding four wides, both first innings closing at 4/0 declared. In the second innings Gloucestershire scored 171, Headley Verity taking 7/64, and Yorkshire were bowled out for 124 (Tom Goddard 5/21), Gloucestershire winning by 47 runs. The scorecard measures 5.25”x9.5”, lightly laid to black album page with small adhesive marks show through. Small loss to top left corner, otherwise in very good condition.
