Nottinghamshire v. Kent 1931. Official commemorative silk scorecard for the match played at Trent Bridge, 20th- 23rd June 1931. Nottinghamshire elected to bat first and scored 186 (George Gunn 85). Kent replied with 119, Harold Larwood returning a career best bowling analysis of nine wickets for 41 runs. In the second innings Nottinghamshire scored 345/9 dec. (Arthur Carr 74, Fred Barratt 72, Gunn 70, Sam Staples 52no), and Kent were then bowled out for 106 (Staples 5/33), Nottinghamshire winning by 306 runs. Tich Freeman took nine wickets in the match for Kent. Printed by C.H. Richards of Nottingham. 7”x9.25”. The scorecard appears to be trimmed and is laid to card, otherwise in very good condition.
