Scorecards are v Cambridge University, Fenners, 9th- 11th May, Australians won by an innings and 163 runs (Ponsford 229no, Brown 105), complete printed scores. v M.C.C., Lord’s, 12th- 15th May, match drawn (Hendren 135, Ponsford 281no, McCabe 192. v Middlesex, Lord’s, 26th & 28th May, Australians won by ten wickets (Hendren 115, Bradman 160. v Surrey, Kennington Oval, 30th May- 1st June, match drawn, (Sandham 219, Gregory 116, McCabe 240, Ponsford 125. v England, 1st Test, Trent Bridge, 8th- 12th June, Australia won by 238 runs (Farnes ten wickets in the match, O’Reilly eleven), complete printed scores. v Gentlemen, Lord’s, 16th- 19th June, Australians won by eight wickets (McCabe 105no). v England, 2nd Test, Lord’s, 22nd- 25th June, England won by an innings and 38 runs (Ames 120, Leyland 109, Brown 105, Verity fifteen wickets in the match). v Surrey, Kennington Oval, 30th June- 3rd July, Australians won by six wickets. Laid to tightly trimmed white card. v England, 3rd Test, Old Trafford, 6th- 10th July, match drawn (Leyland 153, Hendren 132, McCabe 137, O’Reilly seven wickets), complete printed scores. v Yorkshire, Bramall Lane, 14th- 17th July, match drawn (Sellers 104, Bradman 140, Bowes seven wickets), complete printed scores. v The Army, Aldershot, 15th August, Australians won by six wickets, complete printed scores. v England, 5th Test, Kennington Oval, 18th- 22nd August, Australia won by 562 runs (Ponsford 266, Bradman 244, Leyland 110). Sold with a souvenir scorecard of the 5th Test produced by R. Fry of Brighton. v H.D.G. Leveson-Gower’s XI, Scarborough, Australians won by an innings and 48 runs (Bradman 132, McCabe 124, Fleetwood-Smith ten wickets in the match). Four scorecards are from the collection of Clarrie Grimmett. Some scorecards with folds, overall in good condition. Qty 14.
