Oxford University Seniors’ Trial, ‘A. Benn’s Side v. A.M. Lee’s Side’, 27th- 30th April, match drawn. Oxford University Freshmen’s Trial, ‘N.S. Mitchell-Innes’ XI v C.F. Walker’s XI’, 1st & 2nd May, Walker’s XI won by six wickets, (Mitchell-Innes did not play in either match). v Worcestershire, 4th- 7th May, Oxford won by an innings and 13 runs (Mitchell-Innes 96). v Gloucestershire, 8th- 10th May, match drawn (Mitchell-Innes 29 & 18). v Lancashire, 11th- 14th May, Lancashire won by an innings and 30 runs (Mitchell-Innes 102 & 12). v South Africans, 15th- 17th May, match drawn (Mitchell-Innes 168). v Yorkshire, 22nd- 24th May, Yorkshire won by an innings and 59 runs (Mitchell-Innes 49 & 29). v Leicestershire, 29th- 31st May, match drawn (Mitchell-Innes 10 & 40). v Minor Counties, 5th- 7th June, match drawn (Mitchell-Innes 31), wear and staining. All printed by the Holywell Press, Oxford, each 5.25”x8.25”. Odd minor faults and folds, otherwise in good/ very good condition.
