Australia tour to South Africa 1935/36. South Africa v Australia. Official folding scorecard for the 3rd Test played at Newlands, Cape Town, 1st- 4th January 1936. The scorecard with complete printed scores for the first innings, Australia batting first and reaching 362 including a first wicket stand of 233 between Jack Fingleton (112) and Bill Brown (121). South Africa were then dismissed for 102, Clarrie Grimmett taking five wickets. In the second innings, South Africa following on were bowled out for 182, Grimmett taking another five wickets to return match bowling figures of 10/88. Australia won by an innings and 78 runs. Wear, creasing and age toning. Sold with an official folding card for the ‘Bulawayo Jewish Guild Inter-Guild Cricket Match (Kaufman Cup)’, Salisbury v Bulawayo, played at Bulawayo, 26th & 27th December 1937. Result not known.
