Matches are v M.C.C., Lord’s 16th- 19th May, M.C.C. won by ten wickets. v Leicestershire, Aylestone Road, Leicester 20th- 22nd May, match drawn. v Middlesex, Lord’s 23rd & 25th May, Middlesex won by four wickets. v Yorkshire, Bradford Park Avenue 6th- 8th June, Yorkshire won by an innings and 151 runs. v Minor Counties, Lord’s 17th- 19th June, Indians won by an innings and 74 runs. v Surrey, Kennington Oval 20th- 23rd June, match drawn. v England, 1st Test, Lord’s 27th- 30th June, England won by nine wickets. v Lancashire, Aigburth, Liverpool 15th- 17th July, Indians won by 84 runs. v England, 2nd Test, Old Trafford 25th- 28th July, match drawn. 3rd Test, Kennington Oval 15th- 18th August, England won by nine wickets (Wally Hammond 217). v H.D.G. Leveson-Gower’s XI, Scarborough 9th- 11th September, match drawn. Odd minor faults, overall in good condition
