Scorecards are v Worcestershire, New Road, Worcester 6th & 8th May, Worcestershire won by 85 runs (Perks eleven wickets). v Middlesex, Lord’s 3rd- 6th June, West Indians won by an innings and 228 runs (Headley 228, Sealy 181, Stollmeyer 117). v Leicestershire, Aylestone Road, Leicester 17th- 20th June, match drawn. England v West Indies, 1st Test, Lord’s 24th- 27th June, England won by eight wickets (Headley 106 & 107, Hutton 196, Compton 120). v Sir Julian Cahn’s XI, West Bridgford 19th & 20th July, match drawn. 2nd Test, Old Trafford 22nd- 25th July, match drawn. v Hampshire, Dean Park, Bournemouth 29th July- 1st August, West Indians won by ten wickets (Clarke 13 wickets). 3rd Test, Kennington Oval 19th- 22nd August, match drawn (Weekes 137, Hutton 165, Hammond 138). Odd minor faults, otherwise in good condition.
