West Indies tour of England 1939. ‘The Ashes. The West Indies are Here!’. Rare tour souvenir brochure for the tour in 1939. Printed by Love & Malcomson Co of Surrey. Lacking original decorative covers. Signed to pen pictures in ink by fifteen members of the West Indies team. Signatures include Headley, Barrow, V.Stollmeyer, Constantine, Hylton (signed twice), Martindale, Johnson, Gomez, Clarke, J. Stollmeyer, Grant (cpt), Weekes etc. Also fading signatures of C.B. Fry, A. Wood, M.S. Nichols and E.W. Swanton to page three. The signatures of Weekes and Cameron on paper pieces laid down to the page. Slight fading to around seven of the signatures but all legible. Some soiling to outer pages, some wear to page edges, rusting to staples, some page sections becoming loose. About fair condition
