Official 26pp programme with original paper wrappers for the charity event held on Todmorden Cricket Ground, 26th May 1917. Contents relate mainly to the gala and other sports events, but p3 lists the teams for the cricket match, Lancashire v Yorkshire, with scores neatly annotated in black ink. Notable names who played include C.R. Hartley, A.E. Lawton, B. Blomley (Lancashire), G.H. Hirst, W. Rhodes, D. Denton (Yorkshire) etc. The scorecard shows Lancashire bowled out for 92, and Yorkshire for 71. Some damage and small loss to wrappers with age toning, rusting to staples, otherwise in good condition.
