Baxter. ‘Illustrated by an Elegant Copper-Plate Engraving’. 62pp plus one advertising page. Bound in brown boards, with original stiffened paper front wrapper retained, lacking rear. Includes the folded frontispiece engraving of the ‘Cricketing’ scene, with a match in progress in the Paddock, a field below Lewes Castle, with a key to fielding positions. Padwick 383. Some wear to the original front wrapper, minor age toning internally otherwise in remarkably good condition. Preserved in a green board box with gilt titles to spine.
