‘Middlesex v. Somerset. A.E. Trott’s Benefit’ 1907. Albert Trott two hat-tricks in one innings. Original commemorative silk scorecard for the match played at Lord’s 20th- 22nd May 1907. Middlesex (286 & 213) beat Somerset (236 & 97) by 166 runs. The match was remarkable for the second innings bowling performance of Albert Trott in his benefit match, taking four wickets in four balls to dismiss Lewis, Poyntz, Woods and Robson, and then a further three wickets in three balls to dismiss Mordaunt, Wickham and Bailey. He ended the innings with bowling figures of 7/20 off eight overs. Ex M.C.C. collection. The scorecard with light crease and very small stain to centre, otherwise in very good condition.
