Kent C.C.C. 1926-1938. Eight original scorecards for Kent County and first-class ‘home’ matches, all with incomplete and/ or handwritten scores, and one other signed, played at various grounds. Matches are v M.C.C., Folkestone 1926, v Derbyshire, Tonbridge 1930, v Surrey, Blackheath 1932, v Derbyshire, Tunbridge Wells 1934, v Surrey, Blackheath 1934 & 1936, v Lancashire, Canterbury 1938, and v Yorkshire, Dover 1938. The other is for a Single Wicket Match, C.S. Marriott (Kent) v T.W. Goddard (Gloucestershire) played ‘in aid of Ashdown’s Benefit’ at Canterbury, 6th August 1935. The scorecard with neatly handwritten scores of Goddard 37 and Marriott 16 & 4, Goddard winning by an innings and 17 runs. The umpires were C.B. Fry and Percy Chapman. Nicely signed in ink by both Marriott and Goddard. Odd minor faults, otherwise in good condition. Qty 9.
